Just like you, I was born in some corner of this planet. Depending on where we’ve been born, among other factors, our experiences are pretty different. My corner of the world is Switzerland. I did check out a few more in the world.

I was born in the countryside and seem to end up in the suburbs. After I completed my school years, I started to pursue a career in the sawmill industry. Because I strongly felt drawn to other life areas, I did two longer internships in homes for people with special needs. I also went to a commercial school for a couple of years. I never got much work experience.

In the meantime, mental illness struck and has troubled me intensely for quite a bit since then.

For a while, I did work in protected workplaces. The most important to me was visiting elderly people on behalf of an organization that offers work only for people with a mental illness and that are eligible for an Invalidity pension.

As I said, life is a journey into the unknown. Let’s see what is coming up.
